These extra slippy silicone coated polyester re-usable flat slide sheets with handles are used by hospitals, as well as for manual handling in care homes and nursing homes. The reusable slide sheets are available in teal polyester fabric. For infection control, the slide sheets can be washed in a hot wash, to thermal disinfection temperatures. Most importantly, be careful not to use chlorine bleach or softener when laundering the slide sheets as this will be detrimental to the silicone coating. The handles are on three sides of the slide sheet, giving plenty of space for many people to assist with the repositioning or sliding task.
